Lauren Young is an American actor currently based in New York City who trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly RSAMD) and WIlliams College in Williamstown, MA.
Lauren's background is primarily theatrical but she is also excited about branching out into the world of film, television and radio.
Lauren has performed in London at Shakespeare's Globe and The Tron Theatre in Glasgow. Her most recent theatrical projects have used real-life stories to challenge audiences to engage with the world surrounding them.
Lauren can now add producer to her resume! After working with a colleague on the two week festival, Play.Sing.Give. Lauren also made her writing debut in the festival with Special Buddies 101. A piece co-written with a colleague on the ups and downs of friendship.
When she's not acting, Lauren enjoys taking classes at SoulCycle, dance, taking vocal lessons and yoga. She loves music and has played sports her entire life but has recently started squash.
Lauren performed a reading of Adventure Quest by Richard Lovejoy produced by Dutch Kills Theater Company!
